DUNES Anna Bay house close to beach with big yard

Very comfortable 2 bedroom house close to beaches and town. Positive: Very nice 2 bedroom house, close to beaches and the main town. Very comfortable beds, very clean and well presented. Big backyard and dog friendly. Jaymie kept in contact with courtesy reminders and provided the lockbox details on the morning of our arrival, as well as a brief note on some local sights. Negative: Although the backyard is fully fenced, the gap under the driveway gate is large enough that a small dog can get out.

It was a comfortable stay and the host was fabulous with their communication. Positive: It was very convenient and close to shops and Birubi beach! The property was also very clean and had everything we needed (except a spare bin liner). Negative: The rooms did get a little cold at night and the spare blanket in the wardrobe was a little light. We did see the portable heater but didnt want to turn it on in the rooms.

This was by far the best dog friendly accommodation we have booked. Positive: Property was very clean, large and the decor modern. Beds were comfortable. Had everything we needed. Our dog loved it too. Negative: Can’t really say there was anything we didn’t like.

Cosy and comfortable little beach house. Positive: Clean, comfortable, and good location but also doggy friendly. In better weather, it would be awesome. Would stay again. Negative: Pillows aren't great...way too soft and no support. We were there in the East Coast low, so the whole area lost power for an extended period. Had to leave early, but the owners were very understanding of the difficult circumstances and refunded part of the rental.

Positive: The place was very clean and comfortable. Comfy beds, great shower, super soft bath towels, well stocked kitchen utensils, and a thoughtful welcome pack waiting in the fridge for us! Negative: No complaints. Only downside was it’s a 15mins drive to nice cafes and shops in Nelson Bay, the local shops pretty average
